How are GOWNS sizes calculated?
GOWNS are designed having different morphologies in mind, to guarantee the best fit for each customer. Therefore every garment has its separate size chart, please check it before you place an order.
How do I know what body type I am?
Please visit our page where you will find our description for different morphologies, and style recommendations. We believe it essential to find this out in order to purchase the right fit for you.
How do I measure myself?
With a measuring tape, please measure the bust/chest and hips at the widest part. Waist, on the contrary, is the smallest part of your torso. To define the right waist point you may tie a ribbon on your waist - it will sit on the smallest part.
Why do I need to choose my height from the menu, while placing an order?
People may have the same measurements (width) but differ in height (size S who is 160cm tall or size S who is 180cm tall, for example), and the garment won’t fit them in the same way. GOWNS are engaged to achieve the best fit for you, therefore our sizes are adapted to the client’s height. Please choose the brackets that are corresponding to your height.
When will I receive my order?
Once your purchase is completed, an email confirmation will be sent. This email stands for the invoice and will include your order number. GOWNS are made-to-order responsibly in small artisan ateliers in Lithuania, to guarantee the best quality. Therefore it usually takes from 2-4 weeks to receive your order. We kindly ask for your understanding and respect for this term. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with your shipment’s tracking information. GOWNS is not responsible for any delay due to customs or force majeure.
How do I return my order?
Our return or exchange policy can be applied within 14 days, from the date you received your order, to return your purchase. Items must be returned to us unused and in the same condition that they were received in. Please ensure before you return an item that all tags are attached, and all original packaging is present and intact. In order to return your order you need to contact us. Your return request will be notified to our Customer Care, who will evaluate whether to authorize it or not: the authorization from the Customer Care will be confirmed by an email. Please use a pre-paid return label included with your order. You can then post your return either at your nearest DHL drop-off point or you can also book a return collection by visiting the DHL website and indicating your Waybill number on the label. Please retain a copy of the proof of return postage. Returns that do not meet our policy will not be accepted.
How soon will I receive my refund?
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to the original method of payment, within 14 days. In what packaging will my goods be delivered?
You will receive your ordered items in a chic branded GOWNS duster bag to cover your garment on the hanger, or carry your items in it on your travels. Your order will also include a GOWNS branded envelope with a card inside. The bag with these contents will be shipped in a cardboard box to ensure undamaged delivery. Should you need to return the items, please re-use the same box if possible.
